Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our rehabilitation team at the Good Samaritan Society - Specialty Care Community. As an LPN, you will provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long-term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care for residents, including administering medications, treatments, and performing testing to evaluate resident status.
  • Contribute to the assessment of residents and develop care plans to meet their physical and psychosocial needs.
  • Work effectively with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents.
  • Counsel residents, family members, and/or resident advocates on prevention and treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement self-care programs for residents.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
  • Completes required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements of the department and facility.
