We are seeking a highly skilled Paramedic to join our team at Med Center Health. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care to patients in a variety of settings.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients to determine the level of care needed and initiate the appropriate course of action.
- Follow local and national guidelines for the initial management of medical emergencies.
- Perform trauma care, including bleeding control, splinting, and immobilization.
- Use, clean, and replenish patient care supplies and equipment according to department and corporate guidelines.
- Operate company vehicles safely and maintain records of maintenance checks.
- Document patient demographic data, assessment findings, treatment, and procedures performed.
- Kentucky Licensed Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Motor vehicle record check required and will be performed annually.
The Paramedic will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure, and will be required to make quick decisions in emergency situations.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
