Job Opportunity

StretchLab - Virginia Beach is seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Flexibility Specialist. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional stretching experiences to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one assisted stretch sessions and lead guided group stretching classes for up to 6 clients.
  • Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions, promoting a positive and supportive environment.
  • Build and retain client relationships through effective communication and exceptional customer service.
  • Manage client care by delivering a best-in-class stretching experience, updating client notes consistently, and booking client's weekly recurring appointments.
  • Ensure the safety of clients by enforcing proper stretch techniques and adhering to StretchLab policies and safety rules.
  • Participate in staff meetings and required educational presentations to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
  • Handle member concerns and provide solutions in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Assist Sales Associates and General Manager with studio tours and sales as needed.
  • Maintain a strong social media presence to engage with clients and promote StretchLab's services.
  • Clean and maintain all equipment to ensure it is available for client use at any given time.
Requirements
  • A passion for boutique fitness and a love of stretching, mobility, and flexibility.
  • Previous experience as a Massage Therapist, Personal Trainer, Physical Therapist, or Pilates or Yoga Instructor.
  • Experience working in a fitness/health environment where you provided hands-on training with clients.
  • Fitness certification required.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people.
  • A professional work ethic, reliability, and adherence to attendance policies.
  • Availability to complete our 3-day Flexologist Training Program, which includes 20 hours of online tutorials and 3 days of in-person/hands-on training.
