Job Title: Automotive Detailer

A successful Automotive Detailer at Optima Dealer Services is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance for our clients' vehicles. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors to meet company standards and client expectations.
  • Operate various equipment, including buffers, steamers, hoses, and vacuums, to achieve exceptional results.
  • Use cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of vehicles.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure seamless operations and address any product or material needs.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and handle products and wash towels with care.
  • Perform clay, polish, and wax services, requiring knowledge of buffers, hoses, and other equipment.
Requirements:
  • High energy and a willingness to go above and beyond to deliver exceptional results.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
  • Unrestricted California driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles.
  • Able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces.
  • Basic computer and internet skills.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
  • Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and team members.
  • Must be self-motivated with good written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this role include standing for extended periods, walking, using hands to handle equipment, and reaching with hands and arms. The employee must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds and have specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
