Job Summary

The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Professional Nurse, you will be responsible for the management of patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient/student outcomes in the outpatient setting and contracted services in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Implement and evaluate patient care plans, utilizing evidence-based practices
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing education program and current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in NYS
  • Greater than one year experience as a RN required
  • Experience working in the school setting or outpatient setting preferred
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • High level of interpersonal skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
