Mill Superintendent

Alta Forest Products LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mill Superintendent to lead our sawmill operations in Amanda Park. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive productivity, quality, and safety in our manufacturing processes.

• Develop and implement operational plans to achieve business objectives
• Lead and manage a team of production supervisors and operators to ensure efficient and safe production
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime
• Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in a leadership role in lumber or wood products manufacturing
• Proven track record of improving productivity, quality, and safety in a manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Competitive salary range: $105,500 - $118,000 per year
