Job Summary

As a Night Auditor at Marriott International Inc, you will be responsible for completing end-of-day activities, including posting charges to accounts, running night audit backup, and rolling the date. You will process all payment types, such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit, and handle adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges. Additionally, you will print contingency lists to have a record of all guests in case of emergency and sell rooms to guests without reservations based on availability. You will also operate the telephone switchboard station, process requests for wake-up calls, and advise guests of any messages. Furthermore, you will complete the Room Rate Variance Report and process all guest check-ins and assign rooms. You will activate or reissue room keys using an electronic key machine, count bank at the end of the shift, and secure the bank. You will balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications and set up, stock, and maintain work areas, and inspect the cleanliness and presentation of all materials prior to use.

Responsibilities

- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Less than 1-year related work experience.
- No supervisory experience.
