Equipment Development Manager

We're currently seeking a highly skilled Equipment Development Manager to lead our efforts in developing and implementing new manufacturing equipment and processes.
The estimated salary for this position is $100,000 - $120,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
About the Role:
We're looking for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in manufacturing equipment development and implementation. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the development and installation of new manufacturing equipment and processes, ensuring they meet company specifications and quality standards.
You'll work closely with our design and production teams to analyze and improve manufacturing operations, identify areas for process optimization, and implement changes to increase productivity and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of new manufacturing equipment and processes to meet business needs
- Analyze and improve manufacturing operations to identify areas for process optimization
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure effective use of new equipment and processes
- Demonstrate project management and technical expertise, including scheduling, tracking, team assignments, allocation of resources, and status reports
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you'll need a college degree in manufacturing or industrial engineering, co-op or internship experiences, and working knowledge of Statistical Process Control techniques. You should also possess effective problem-solving, judgment, and independent thinking skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with other functional areas.
