About the Position

The Yuba City Unified School District is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Custodial Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our custodial staff, ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our schools, and providing exceptional customer service to our students, staff, and community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of custodial staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance of schools
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols to meet the needs of our schools
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with school administrators and staff to resolve maintenance and cleaning issues
  • Manage and maintain custodial supplies and equipment
  • Develop and implement training programs for custodial staff
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • At least three years of experience in custodial or facilities management, including supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of cleaning and maintenance procedures, including health and safety regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
