Fire Safety and Security Systems Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Safety & Security Systems Technician to join our team. As a key member of our fire safety division, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining fire alarm systems, intrusion alarms, access control systems, and other safety devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain fire alarm systems, intrusion alarms, access control systems, and other safety devices to ensure flawless operation and compliance with safety codes.
  • Tackle complex technical challenges with innovative solutions, ensuring each system operates efficiently and effectively.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, ensuring their safety needs are met and relationships are maintained.
  • Collaborate with managers and team members to complete projects on time, ensuring smooth coordination and high-quality outcomes.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working with fire alarm systems (e.g., EST, Honeywell), intrusion alarms, access control systems, and related low-voltage technologies.
  • Valid certifications in relevant technologies and knowledge of industry standards. Current Fire Alarm & Burglar Alarm Licenses (e.g., NICET, NFPA) are a must.
  • Proficient with email, spreadsheets, and internal systems. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is a plus.
  • Ability to travel for extended periods, often working on projects in various locations across the U.S.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional service to clients.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to transport tools and equipment.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • An hourly wage of $35-$50, based on experience.
