ICTS is a well-established security firm employing over 4,000 individuals across the UK, delivering comprehensive security solutions throughout Europe. In this position, you will be responsible for safeguarding warehouse inventory, facilities, and personnel for a leading online retailer.

Key Responsibilities

In a dynamic and modern fulfilment centre, your duties will include:

• Overseeing access control for staff, visitors, and contractors
• Conducting foot patrols to prevent and identify inventory loss
• Performing bag and body searches with hand-held metal detectors
• Utilizing walk-through scanners for screening individuals
• Addressing incidents professionally, including positive searches
• Responding to inquiries and requests from customers
• Maintaining records through both digital and paper systems

Work Schedule

This role guarantees an average of 40 hours per week, following a 6-on/3-off shift pattern that includes both day and night shifts. The distribution centre operates around the clock, and as part of a small team, reliability and flexibility are essential to support your colleagues.

Qualifications

An SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) license is mandatory for this position; however, we welcome applications from candidates with relevant transferable skills in customer service. Comprehensive training and support will be provided to obtain the necessary licensing.

To excel in this role, you should possess:

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• The capacity to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure
• Experience in a customer-facing position, preferably in security
• A five-year verifiable work history and references
• The ability to pass a criminal records check (CRC) to the required standards

Additional Skills (not essential)

The following qualifications would be advantageous but are not required:

• SIA Public Space Surveillance (PSS) (CCTV) license
• First Aid certification
• Experience in a similar security role
