Position Overview

As a vital member of our retail team, you will embody the company's service ethos with every customer interaction. Your role will involve achieving sales targets and operational objectives as set by store management while adhering to the company's established Policies and Procedures. You will lead by example, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in your tasks, and work collaboratively towards the shared goal of presenting our store and products in the most appealing manner. You will also be responsible for managing cash transactions and ensuring the precision of all sales operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver an exceptional shopping experience by adhering to company service standards. Maintain a positive demeanor, readiness to assist, and comprehensive product knowledge.
  • Stay informed about ongoing sales promotions and communicate them effectively to customers.
  • Ensure merchandise is presented attractively and that the store remains clean and organized.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of product offerings and fitting techniques.
  • Be vigilant regarding Loss Prevention issues that may involve customers or staff.
  • Assist with inventory management, including shipping and receiving, and help with product placement on the sales floor as needed.
  • Process all transactions accurately and in accordance with established policies, ensuring all products are checked for completeness.
Essential Relationships

Engage effectively with customers, fellow Sales Associates, Store Management, and District/Regional Managers.

Qualifications

Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Basic communication, organizational, and numerical skills are essential. Previous experience in retail sales, particularly in specialty or footwear retail, is preferred. Familiarity with company policies and procedures, as well as visual merchandising standards, is beneficial.
