Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced early childhood educator to join our team at Kids 'R' Kids #27 TX. As a preschool teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging environment that promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of our students.

Key Responsibilities

1. Implement curriculum created by Kids 'R' Kids in the classroom, ensuring that activities and tasks are aligned with developmentally appropriate practice and program philosophy.

2. Collaborate with co-teacher to execute activities and classroom tasks, promoting teamwork and effective communication.

3. Meet the emotional, social, physical, and cognitive needs of each child, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.

4. Maintain daily open communication with parents, ensuring confidentiality and providing regular updates on child progress.

5. Arrange a classroom environment that reflects program goals and philosophy, adhering to state and federal regulations.

6. Keep all appropriate daily records to satisfy Kids 'R' Kids, state, health, and federal requirements.

7. Adhere to Texas Rising Star Standards to maintain accreditation.

8. Report progress of children to parents through parent-teacher conferences and/or assessments.

Requirements

1. Be a self-starter with patience and the ability to make good judgment calls, demonstrating qualities of self-motivation, creativity, reliability, and dependability.

2. Must have and maintain a satisfactory criminal background in accordance with state and federal requirements.

3. Have the ability to lift and carry children and other items weighing up to 30 pounds.

4. Maintain certification in CPR and First Aid training or be willing to become certified once hired.

5. Must have a High School Diploma or GED.

All tasks are to be performed in accordance with Kids 'R' Kids Quality Assurance and Education policies and procedures as well as state and federal regulatory agencies.
