Job Summary

ESFM is seeking a skilled Janitorial Assistant to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Dust and damp mop floors to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
  • Move equipment and furniture as needed to facilitate cleaning and maintenance.
  • Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment, including sanitizing all surfaces.
  • Wash walls, windows, and other surfaces to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete tasks.
  • Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor and perform duties in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
  • Strips, scrubs, buffs, and refinishes floors, and shampoos carpet as needed.
