Fire Sprinkler Designer Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our team at Pye-Barker Fire & Safety. As a Fire Sprinkler Designer, you will play a critical role in designing and developing sprinkler systems to prevent or aid fire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop sprinkler systems to meet customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct research and analysis to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and materials.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure the design and installation of sprinkler systems meet customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain accurate drawings and documentation for sprinkler systems.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and laws.
  • Attend regular development meetings to stay informed about new technologies and materials.

Requirements:

  • AutoCAD knowledge and experience required.
  • 2 years of experience utilizing CAD software required (HydraCAD experience preferred).
  • 1+ years of experience in Fire Sprinkler Design preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree or certifications preferred.
