Fire Alarm Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team at Insight Global. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine and emergency service calls, troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, and providing exceptional customer support.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and emergency service calls to troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning or inoperative equipment.
- Provide reliable and high-quality customer support, including instruction on system operation and functionality.
- Maintain the necessary truck stock and inventory of equipment and tools.
- Organize and utilize technical resources, information, and material to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks.
- Ensure the progress and completion of assigned tasks, including documentation of service and hours worked.
- Complete and submit all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.
- Active certifications within the security and alarm industry.
- Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training.
- Three or more years of experience in the field.
- Mastery knowledge of trouble shooting commercial intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom, and access control systems.
- Working knowledge of local and national codes.
- Mastery knowledge of test equipment, such as multimeters, battery analyzers, and decibel meters.
- Valid driver's license and ability to clear a drug screening.
