Position Overview:

We are seeking an EDM and Airflow Technician to manage the operation of our AirFlow and EDM machinery. The working hours are from Monday to Thursday, 5:30 am to 3:30 pm.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start their career in the manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the AirFlow machinery
  • Change and set up electrodes
  • Utilize measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and comparators
  • Interpret blueprints
  • Detect visual imperfections
  • Employ and inspect various fixtures
  • Recognize alarm signals
  • Initiate and halt machine operations
  • Diagnose and rectify machine operational issues
  • Comprehend and apply ISO 9001/AS 9100 and Nadcap standards and protocols
  • Conduct daily maintenance following a checklist
  • Confirm settings for special process certifications
  • Communicate inquiries and ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Understand, utilize, and adhere to work instructions

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience with Sinker EDM is preferred
  • Background in machining is advantageous
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently
  • Team-oriented mindset
