Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Manager to join our team at Arizona Building Contractors. This role involves ensuring the safe distribution of project materials to support field construction activities. With 17 years of experience in the industry, we have built a reputation for integrity, quality, reliability, and innovation.

As an Equipment Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Handling the receiving, counting, and inspection of materials delivered to the construction site/warehouse/lay-down yard, reconciling any discrepancies, including QA/QC issues, overage, shortage, damage, or other concerns.
  • Overseeing and coordinating the placement and distribution of materials and equipment onto different trucks, ensuring safe transportation to and from construction sites, with a potential need for delivery services.
  • Resolving material-related questions and problems by coordinating directly between project managers, suppliers, fabricators, construction teams, or other management staff.
  • Conducting on-site material audits to verify the accuracy of inventory.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Familiarity with receiving processes involving physical counts, inspections, inventory management, storage, and material issuance.
  • Demonstrable experience towing a trailer.
  • A valid U.S. driver's license for a minimum of 12 months.
  • No DUI incidents within the last 5 years.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, reach, push, pull, move and/or carry objects weighing more than 50 pounds.

This is a salaried position offering $20-$26 per hour, commensurate with experience, along with paid time off, paid holidays, medical insurance, and 401(k) benefits.
