Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Chemistry Instructor to join our team at Loyola University Chicago. The successful candidate will have a PhD in chemical sciences or related areas and a strong commitment to teaching and mentorship. The position involves teaching first and/or second-year laboratory chemistry sections, as well as supervising graduate student teaching assistants. The ideal candidate will have a record of excellence in teaching and a passion for fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach first and/or second-year laboratory chemistry sections
  • Supervise graduate student teaching assistants
  • Develop and implement curriculum to promote student learning and engagement
