Position Overview

Certification Requirements
  • Life Support Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP - Advanced and Basic Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (specific requirements may vary by unit).
  • ARRT Certification: Must hold ARRT-CT Certification.
  • State Licensing: CT Technologists must possess CRT Licensure.
  • Additional Certifications: Various certifications as outlined in unit-specific requirements.
Job Details
  • Position: CT Technologist; Night shifts on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 18:30 to 07:00.
  • On-Call Duties: Required to be on-call 2-4 nights per month.
  • Experience: Minimum of one year recent experience in CT imaging, with trauma experience preferred.
  • Equipment Proficiency: Experience with Siemens imaging equipment is essential.
  • Procedure Experience: Proficiency in Abdomen/Pelvis, Chest, Head/Neck imaging, Multiplanar Reconstruction, Contrast Media preparation/administration, IV starts, Spine/Musculoskeletal imaging, Aspirations/Biopsies, Drainage procedures, Brain Perfusion, PACS, CTA, and CCTA's.
  • Patient Demographics: Experience with all age groups from neonates to older adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • System Experience: Familiarity with Cerner systems is advantageous.
Job Requirements
  • One year of recent CT experience is mandatory.
  • Trauma experience is a requirement.
  • Proficiency with Siemens equipment is necessary.
  • Current BLS certification via AHA is required.
  • Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are preferred.
Schedule Information
  • Night shifts on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 18:30 to 07:00.
  • On-call responsibilities of 2-4 nights per month.
