Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook/Baker to join our team at The Cheesecake Factory. As a Pastry Cook/Baker, you will be responsible for preparing our delicious Italian breads, pastries, puddings, and other desserts from scratch, following our recipes to produce consistent results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and bake a variety of sweet and savory pastries, breads, and desserts, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Manage your station efficiently, completing your prep list and following all specs to ensure seamless service.
  • Portion and package products, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and adhering to our food handling and sanitation standards.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to develop new recipes and menu items, ensuring they meet our high standards of taste, texture, and presentation.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience in a pastry or bakery role, with a focus on Italian cuisine.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
