Job Description

Visiting Angels, a leading provider of non-medical senior home care services, is seeking In Home Aides to provide compassionate, caring, and knowledgeable care to seniors in their homes. Our services allow seniors to remain independent safely in their homes with dignity.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with ambulation and mobility
  • Medication reminders
  • Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
  • Prepare light meals according to dietary restrictions
  • Transportation to and from shops, pharmacy or appointments
  • Perform light housekeeping duties for the client
  • Be a pleasant, engaging, and supportive companion
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license, working vehicle, commuting required and current, up-to-date insurance
  • Must adhere to plans of care for client
  • Must have flexibility with schedules per client needs
  • One year of in-home, caregiver experience preferred
  • Must have good communication skills, have active listening, between clients/families and staff
  • Must be able to be calm in emergent situations and inform staff of any changes to client status
  • Pass background and drug screening
