Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at People's Family of Corporations as a Triage Call Center Nurse. This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced RN to provide exceptional patient care and triage services from our Call Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and refer them to appropriate medical services, providing clear explanations and education to patients and their families.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, maintaining awareness of patient comfort and safety needs.
  • Observe patient conditions, record significant reactions, and notify supervisors or physicians of patient status and response to treatments.
  • Take vital signs, including temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other essential measurements to detect deviations from normal and assess patient condition.
  • Respond to life-saving situations based on nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Document nursing history and physical assessments for assigned patients, initiating patient education plans according to individualized needs.
  • Prepare rooms, sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgery, assisting in surgical procedures as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) with a valid Missouri Nursing License.
  • Three years of experience in ambulatory care or experience in Women's Health, pediatric, or public health settings is desirable.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Language Skills

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
