Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Special Education Paraprofessional. This role will provide support to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students with ASD in a one-on-one setting, providing individualized support and accommodations as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with certified staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide physical and emotional support to students, including toileting and other personal care needs.
  • Model respectful and inclusive behavior, promoting a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents to ensure seamless support and services.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or higher, or equivalent experience.
  • Passing score on the WorkKeys Assessment Test or ETS Parapro Assessment Test.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
