Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical assisting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include preparing patients for visits, administering injections, and performing point-of-care testing. Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited institution (AAMA, AMT, NHA, NCCT, or NAHTR)
  • CPR Certification required within 30 days of hire
  • Valid driver's license required for Regional Positions
Preferred Qualifications
  • One to two years of Medical Assistant experience in a primary or specialty care physician's office
Essential Functions
  • Prepares patients for visits using appropriate rooming standards
  • Administers injections and provides gross observations to providers or licensed nurses
  • Prepares and administers medications as prescribed by providers
  • Assists providers with various procedures and exams
  • Performs point-of-care testing, including hearing, flu, urine, and strep tests
