Dietitian Specialist

At Intermountain Health, we are seeking a skilled Inpatient Registered Dietitian PRN to facilitate the nutrition care process and provide optimal medical nutrition therapy to patients. This role will cover primarily inpatient adult units.

• Counsels and instructs outpatients and/or families, providing written instruction materials
• Evaluates and documents patient and/or caregiver understanding of diet based on behavioral objectives
• Evaluates, interprets, and uses pertinent current research relating to nutrition to develop and revise education materials and teaching outlines
• Responds to telephone requests/referrals, sending information as appropriate
• Participates in programs and education for staff, patients, and community
• Documents patient visits and bills patients for services according to established policy and procedures

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with dietetic internship or equivalent is required
Registration with the ADA Commission on Dietitian Registration is required Current BLS or ability to obtain within three (3) months of hire is required

Estimated Salary Range:$25.58 - $39.49 per hour, depending on experience.
