Job Description

At Entergy, we are committed to providing safe, reliable, and efficient energy services to our customers. As a Journeyman Lineman, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing our transmission and distribution systems.

Responsibilities
  • Perform complex construction and maintenance work on dead or energized transmission and underground or overhead distribution conductors, structures, and equipment.
  • Maintain and repair transmission and distribution systems, including towers, poles, and other infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures, as well as relevant industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of demonstrated linework experience required.
  • Must have equivalent experience in related work, having all the qualifications of Apprentice 4th Year.
  • Knowledge of hot line tools and their application.
  • Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and blueprints.
  • Fully understand and be proficient in using technology needed to perform job such as computers, tablets, and associated software.
