SalaryThe hourly range for this position is $32.00 - $46.50 per hour, with actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
Job DescriptionThis role involves working within a dynamic behavioral health setting, supporting patients with complex medical and mental health needs. As a Senior Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for managing patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and developing therapeutic relationships with patients and their families.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with physicians, social workers, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care that addresses the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of our patients.
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address them.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and caregivers, fostering a sense of trust and respect.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of SD or multi-state privilege to practice in SD if residing in a compact state outside of SD.
- Current CPR, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certification or completion upon next available program.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- A passion for providing high-quality patient care and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
