Job Summary

We are seeking a positive, creative, and driven Speech Therapist to join our growing team. As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing individual and/or group therapy to infants, children, and adolescents.

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations on infants, children, and adolescents.
  • Develop treatment plans with short and long-term goals.
  • Plan and provide individual and/or group therapy according to the individual needs and goals.
  • Provide family education and training to assist in carryover of skills into a client's daily living environment.
  • Make appropriate referrals for additional services.
  • Supervise other Speech Therapists and/or CFs, graduate students, and volunteers, as assigned.
  • Participate in in-service training and/or parent education programs as appropriate.
Qualifications
  • Must hold a New Jersey Speech-Language Pathologist license, or temporary license for Clinical Fellows.
  • Pediatric experience is preferred.
  • Effective and efficient problem solver.
  • Positive tone in interactions with staff.
  • Exhibits responsibility and professionalism.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrates organization and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrates an initiative to learn in order to meet goals and/or targets.
  • Contributes to a team effort by accomplishing related tasks as requested.
