Key Responsibilities- Prepares patients for diagnostic imaging exams, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Operates imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, including x-rays, CT scans, and other modalities.
- Positions patients to ensure accurate and effective imaging, taking into account their medical history and any relevant factors.
- Reviews and interprets imaging results, identifying any abnormalities or areas of concern.
- Collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Completion of a two-year approved program in radiologic technology.
- Valid state radiology registration, as required by state law.
- Two years of experience in radiology, preferably in a critical care setting.
- Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
