Position Overview:
We are looking for a committed and proficient Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Prolink. This full-time role involves shifts ranging from 8 to 10 hours, with some flexibility in scheduling, covering both daytime and evening hours. Weekend and occasional overnight on-call duties are part of the responsibilities.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, relevant professional experience, and a valid RPH license.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescribed medications to patients and designated areas within the healthcare facility.
- Provide clinical pharmacotherapy support utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and foster a team-oriented environment.
- Integrate pharmacotherapy principles into practice to enhance patient care.
- Maintain professional accountability and responsibility within assigned areas of practice.
- Ensure clinical competency in age-specific pharmacological care, from neonatal to geriatric patients.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
- Shifts may vary; typically 8-10 hours.
- Flexibility required for days and evenings.
Weekend and Holiday Requirements:
- Participation in weekend rotations, typically no more than every third weekend.
- Overnight on-call duties may be required for coverage of closing shifts, occurring infrequently.
Essential Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Pharmacy from an accredited institution; one to two years of related experience preferred.
- Experience: Familiarity with preparation of chemotherapeutic agents, pharmacy software systems, pharmacokinetics, and aseptic techniques.
- Licensure: Valid RPh licensure is mandatory.
