Genie Healthcare is seeking a skilled and experienced LPN/LVN to join our team as a Travel LPN - Long Term Care Specialist. As a Travel LPN, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of long-term care settings, providing high-quality patient care and support to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to residents in long-term care settings, including administering medications, wound care, and other medical treatments.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and industry developments.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in skilled long-term care or transitional care settings.
  • Current LPN/LVN licensure in good standing.
  • Ability to work every other weekend.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Experience with IV pumps, PVR, wound vacs, central line blood draws, and central line dressing changes.
