Diesel Mechanic Job DescriptionTrotter Workforce is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic tests on diesel vehicles to identify faults and repair or replace engine, steering, transmission, braking, or lighting system components.
- Maintain accurate records of services for clients and the company.
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and battery checks.
- Conduct inspections on trucks and provide timely documentation.
- Install emissions control systems in accordance with pollution control regulations.
- Operate hydraulic jacks or hoists to safely raise and lower vehicles and equipment.
- Diesel ASE certification is preferred.
- CDL certification is preferred, and we will assist in obtaining it.
- Self-motivated and professional individuals with a high school diploma or equivalent are required.
- PA State Inspection License or willingness to obtain is preferred.
- At least 2 years of Fleet or Dealership experience is preferred.
- Uphold engine safety standards in accordance with federal and state vehicle requirements.
