About the Opportunity
Are you a board-certified or board-eligible Family Practice physician with a passion for academic medicine and teaching?
We are seeking a full-time faculty member to join our Family Medicine Residency Program at Mercy Health Anderson Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Job Description:
- Provide comprehensive patient-centered medical care for all members of the family in diverse settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and home visits.
- Devote significant time to resident and medical student education, including teaching, evaluation, supervision, and provision of formative feedback.
- Serve as advisor, role model, teacher, and mentor to residents and medical students.
- Develop, implement, and assess a comprehensive family medicine curriculum to meet ACGME requirements.
- Assess residents' progress toward achievement of competency in Family Medicine.
- Engage in quality improvement and scholarly activities, serving on the Core Competency Committee and Program Evaluation Committee.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Practice.
- Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program.
- Eligibility for licensure in Ohio.
- Current DEA licensure with full prescriptive authority.
- Clinical experience post-residency is preferred.
- Willingness to combine administrative and clinical responsibilities (40/60).
