Design Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Technician to join our dynamic team at RedBuilt LLC. As a Design Technician, you will play a key role in the design of our engineered wood products, structural components, and construction systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Model floor and roof systems using Revit software
- Design wall systems for wood and light gauge steel using Revit software
- Develop mass timber system models using Revit software
- Detail and design floor and roof trusses using proprietary RedBuilt software
- Conduct component design analysis and selection
- Communicate effectively with customers, architects, engineers, and sales representatives
- Experience with drafting and modeling software such as Revit
- Excellent reading and interpretation skills for construction drawings
- Basic trigonometry skills
- Attention to detail and quality focus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Innovative problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Framing or construction experience
- Dynamo scripting for Revit
- Experience with other BIM software tools
- Prior experience designing structural systems in wood
- Competitive salary range: $24-$31 per hour
