Penn State Health is seeking a skilled Pediatric Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality care to our pediatric patients. As a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to each child's unique needs.

Responsibilities
  • Administer advanced respiratory care procedures, including ventilation and oxygen therapy.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on respiratory care and disease management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  • AHA BLS certification required prior to orientation completion.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the NBRC preferred, required within six months of start date.
