Paralegal Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team at Jobot. As a Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting our attorneys in preparing for trials and court proceedings, conducting research and analyzing law sources, and drafting legal documents.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for trials and court proceedings
  • Research and analyze law sources to prepare legal documents
  • Draft legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, and appeals
  • Investigate facts and law of cases to determine causes of action
  • Help lawyers prepare for litigation and provide litigation support
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations
  • Manage case files and support attorneys with case management
  • Coordinate law office activities, such as subpoena delivery
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in civil litigation
  • Strong understanding and experience in drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and providing legal assistance
  • Proficiency in using legal research software and case management tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage large amounts of data, and multitask effectively
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Paralegal degree or certification preferred
