Job Overview:

Position Summary:

As the primary representative of Kimbrell's Furniture, the Sales Associate plays a crucial role in addressing customer inquiries regarding our offerings. Sales Associates are expected to continually expand their understanding of our products, services, and company policies while maintaining a professional demeanor that reflects our commitment to customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Engage with customers in a polite and professional manner, providing information about our home furnishings and products.
2. Address customer concerns promptly to ensure maximum satisfaction.
3. Meet and exceed sales targets by going above and beyond in service.
4. Guide customers to merchandise throughout the store.
5. Maintain superior product knowledge.
6. Keep the sales floor organized and visually appealing.
7. Introduce promotions and opportunities to customers.
8. Encourage additional purchases through cross-selling.
9. Build and nurture trusting relationships with customers for future sales.


Qualifications:

1. Strong selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
2. Friendly, enthusiastic, and energetic with a genuine desire to provide exceptional service.
3. Ability to identify furniture by number, color, or description from invoices and accurately complete sales contracts.
4. Capable of reading and following assembly instructions for home furnishings, assembling products for display and delivery.
5. Availability to work weekends and/or extended hours as needed.
6. Adherence to all company policies and procedures.
7. Commitment to acting in the best interest of Kimbrell's at all times and cooperating fully in any company investigations.


Fluency in English/Spanish is preferred. The responsibilities listed above are representative of the Sales Associate role and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties.


Compensation:
$35,000 - $70,000.00 per year
