Position Overview:

  • Advocate for a safe working environment that promotes high-quality patient care through evidence-based practices.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality by encouraging professional communication among staff.
  • Oversee, implement, and assess nursing interventions and documentation practices.
  • Exhibit proficiency in executing critical nursing skills tailored to the specific needs of the patient demographic served.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to guarantee timely, efficient, and effective patient care.
  • Support the professional growth of staff while being accountable for retention efforts.
  • Adhere to established policies, procedures, and safety protocols, completing necessary educational requirements annually. Engage in quality improvement initiatives as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required; a bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field is preferred (to be obtained within three years of assuming the position).

Experience Requirements:

A minimum of three (3) years of recent clinical experience is required, with two (2) years of leadership or managerial experience preferred.

Licensure:

Must possess and maintain a valid registered nurse license in the state of Tennessee.

RN license is mandatory.
