We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at LHC-Illinois Home Health Care. As a Speech Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients overcome speech and language disorders, and cognitive impairments.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patient care needs and develop personalized therapy plans to address speech and language disorders.
- Provide services within the scope of practice as defined by state laws, in accordance with the plan of care, and in coordination with other healthcare team members.
- Assist physicians in the development of therapy plans and treat patients to communicate effectively.
- Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on areas of speech therapy in which they can participate.
- Current licensure in Speech Therapy in the state of practice.
- Current CPR certification.
- A valid driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
