Job Title: Surgical Care Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Surgical Care Specialist to provide exceptional care to patients in the post-anesthesia recovery unit at Oroville Hospital. The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse with experience in surgical care and a passion for delivering compassionate and personalized care.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides nursing care to patients of all ages in the post-anesthesia recovery unit.
  • Conducts initial and ongoing assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administers medications and completes treatments as ordered by physicians.
  • Responds to emergency situations and initiates interventions as necessary.
  • Maintains accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the State of California.
  • Current American Heart Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Current ACLS Certification.
  • Current PALS Certification.
