Pediatric Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatric Pharmacist to join our team at RWJBarnabas Health. As a Per Diem Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our pharmacy department.

• Dispense medication orders accurately and efficiently, adhering to established policies and procedures.
• Interpret and transcribe medication orders into the EMR system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medication profiles, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or issues.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and patients to ensure safe and effective drug therapy, providing education and guidance as needed.
• Participate in the prevention of drug diversion and ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

• B.S. or Pharm.D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Registered Pharmacist in NJ.
• AHA BLS Certification.
• Preferred: Completion of a PGY1 residency program or equivalent experience, pediatric pharmacy experience, and Board Certification in pediatric practice.
