MRI Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Mansa Medical - Normal. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and maintaining diagnostic equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct MRI procedures with precision and attention to detail, adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Screen patients for contraindications and take necessary precautions to ensure their comfort and safety during exams.
  • Review examination requisitions to gather essential information and prepare patients for procedures.
  • Explain procedures thoroughly and answer patient questions to alleviate anxiety and facilitate a smooth experience.
  • Monitor patient conditions and assist radiologists as needed, adhering to company policies and hospital procedures.
  • Maintain diagnostic equipment, ensuring it is clean, disinfected, and in good working order.
  • Prepare examinations for interpretation by radiologists, ensuring correct identification and processing of films, and compiling clinical history and previous exams for comparison.
  • Assist radiologists during the administration of contrast media, practicing aseptic techniques as required.
  • Recognize allergic reactions and respond according to emergent patient care procedures.
  • Adhere to standard precautions and infection control policy standards.
  • Assist with patient scheduling and preparation prior to exams, ensuring each patient receives the highest quality service possible.
  • Conduct examinations with regard to the patient's age, condition, or other special needs.
  • Comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and company policies.

We offer a competitive salary range of $1640 to $1822 per week, with a guaranteed 24 hours of work per week. This is a temporary position with a 13-week duration. If you are a skilled MRI Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience in MRI and hold an ARRT (MR) license, we encourage you to apply.
