As a Surgical Physician Assistant specializing in Cardiovascular care, you will utilize your medical expertise and skills to practice medicine under the supervision of a physician. This role involves collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide care for patients across various age groups, from adolescents to seniors, tailored to their specific needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care within the department under physician oversight.
  • Exhibit proficient surgical skills as required.
  • Provide specialized care that is appropriate for the patient's age, ensuring high-quality treatment during procedures.
  • Educate patients and their families to support their care journey.
  • Act as a catalyst for enhancing practice standards; assist in developing and implementing methods and tools to elevate patient care.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain current knowledge in your area of expertise.
  • Contribute to the education of new staff, ancillary personnel, and students.
