About the Job

This full-time position requires a minimum of one year of acute nursing experience and a current valid North Carolina nursing license. You will work 72 hours per 2 weeks on the night shift, providing high-quality patient care to our patients on the Medicine I unit. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing individualized nursing care plans, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and ensuring timely and efficient patient care processes.

Responsibilities and Qualifications
  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments to identify patient needs and concerns.
  • Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans that address patient and family needs.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Ensure timely and efficient admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
  • Provide leadership and guidance as a resource nurse, mentor coach, and delegator of nursing care activities.
  • Document patient assessments, care delivery, and response to care in the medical record.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
  • Current valid North Carolina nursing license required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association required.
  • One year of acute nursing experience preferred.
