As an Inventory Control Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring compliance with operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling, and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote a safe environment for the customer's product, associates, and temporary workers.
  • Write and respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and operations.
  • Advise management on the appropriate resolution of operating issues.
  • Provide 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Build a positive teamwork environment by listening and communicating with all associates.
  • Follow and implement all AIM procedures for the facility.
  • Help maintain a tour-ready facility.
  • Follow the Sundown policy.
  • Monitor daily compliance to safety procedures.
  • Investigate accidents and prepare reports.
  • Provide on-the-job coaching and training needed to ensure associate skills are maintained at desired levels.
  • Support the coordination of floor space and work flow schemes.
  • Cross-train associates as needed to maximize associate effectiveness.
  • Assist in coordinating OS&D claims.
  • Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report non-compliance when observed.
  • Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
  • Must have experience on forklift, reach, and order-selector.
  • 2-5 years warehouse experience.
  • 2-5 years working knowledge in WMS and RF systems.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to problem solve.
