Job Title: CT Technologist

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for capturing diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues using computerized tomography equipment.

**Responsibilities:**

* Position patients appropriately for scanning specific areas of their bodies
* Perform regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes
* Sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety
* Correctly interpret doctors' written scanning instructions
* Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues
* Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
* Explain scanning procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as required

**Requirements:**

* BLS and ACLS certification
* National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification
* Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) certification
* Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
* Ability to stand for extended periods
* Strong technical skills
* Knowledge of medical terminology
* Passionate about patient care
* Minimum of two years of current CT Technologist experience
* Graduate from a fully accredited Radiology Tech/CT Tech program
* Active unencumbered CT Tech Wisconsin state license
* One year of Epic experience

* Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills
* Participates in relevant continuing education programs
* Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients
* Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise
* Can-do, team-oriented attitude
* Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and flexibility to handle multiple tasks
