Job Title: Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Chico's FAS. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a visually appealing store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive and personalized shopping experience for all customers.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals by utilizing effective sales techniques, communicating product knowledge, and recommending merchandise to customers.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of current sales and promotions, as well as pricing and visual standards.
  • Ensure merchandise is handled, presented, and displayed in a manner that meets company standards.
  • Participate in visual directives, including monthly store sets and zone maintenance.
Customer Experience:
  • Model and promote the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles and standards, offering a cohesive omni-channel experience.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns and provide a fast and efficient register experience.
  • Reinforce buying decisions at the checkout and achieve add-on goals, including gift card sales.
  • Sign up clients for the reward program and build and maintain a solid customer following through clienteling and wardrobing.
Operational Excellence:
  • Support replenishment activities to keep the store full and abundant.
  • Assist with locate fulfillment and visual directives, including floor sets, window changes, and visual presentations.
  • Assist with boutique cleanliness and organization.
Teamwork and Growth:
  • Promote an inclusive, collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Seek personal developmental opportunities and solicit feedback from colleagues and management.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Retail or sales experience preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to communicate with customers, associates, and management.

Physical Requirements:

  • Constant walking/standing (8-hour shift).
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of 8-hour shift).
  • Frequent climbing (34%-66% of 8-hour shift).

Compensation: The wage range for this position is $15.50 to $19.50. Successful candidates' wage rates will be determined based on their individual qualifications for the position.
