We are seeking a highly skilled Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team at Labcorp. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting blood and other specimens from patients, preparing them for testing, and ensuring accurate data entry.

Compensation: $18.29 to $28.49 per hour, with opportunities for bonuses and commissions.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing medical laboratory science company. As a Phlebotomy Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical research.

The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A high school diploma or equivalent and phlebotomy certification are required, with previous experience as a phlebotomist being preferred.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Collect blood and other specimens from patients using venipuncture and capillary techniques
  2. Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
  3. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and efficiently
  4. Process billing information and collect payments when required
  5. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and colleagues
  6. Maintain accurate records and logs of patient and specimen information
