Recreation Specialist Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Recreation Specialist to join our team at WWAARC in Albany Counties. As a Recreation Specialist, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with developmental disabilities to develop and participate in recreational activities at program and in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with developmental disabilities to develop and participate in recreational activities
- Develop and implement recreation programs and activities that promote physical and emotional well-being
- Work within a collaborative team to ensure the delivery of high-quality services
- Provide support and guidance to individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve their recreational goals
Requirements:
- 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license that meets WWAARC insurability standards
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- College transcripts may be used in lieu of a High School Diploma or Equivalent
